Phyllis Darlene Alexander

Phyllis Darlene Alexander of Chula Vista, California, died Tuesday December 16, 2014 at Sharp Hospice in San Diego, California. She was born January 11, 1937 in Nickerson, Kansas, where she was raised by her loving parents Rudolph and Blanch Young. Phyllis was married to Larry Steven Alexander of Stony Point, North Carolina for 48 years.

Phyllis was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and daughter. She will forever be remembered for her laughter and love of life until the very end. She will truly be missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Steven Alexander and her grandson Blake Steven Wright. She was survived by her three sisters Mary Jean Traylor, Lavaughn Theissen, and Gail Ann Johnson; two daughters Terri Lynn Wright and Cynthia Kay Wetherington; two sons-in-law David Daniel Wright Jr. and Mark Alan Wetherington; her grandson David Daniel Wright III.

Grave side services will be held at 2:30 PM on January 6, 2015 at Glen Abbey Memorial Park.
