Anne Mastaler

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Anne Mastaler, on August 2, 2013 at Seven Oaks Hospital.

Anne was born on November 4, 1916 in Birch River, MB. Left to cherish her memory is her son Bruce (Crystal), daughter Mildred (Del) and son Daniel, her Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sisters Ellen, Kay, Jean and Mary and her brothers Peter, Nick and Walter.

Anne married John Mastaler in 1934 and she lived most of her life in McMunn, on her farm, where she raised her family.

Anne was very active in her community, she worked and looked after the farm. She enjoyed canning, gardening and traveling. Spending time with friends and family was especially important.

Funeral service will be held at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy 1 East at Navin Road, on Wednesday, August 7th, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow in St. Mary’s Riverside Cemetery in Prawda, Manitoba.

The family would like to thank the staff for the care she received while residing at the Maples Care Home and also for the care she received at the Seven Oaks Hospital.
