Charlotte Martin

Mom was predeceased by her husband Rene in June of 2012 and her parents Agnes and Walter White and brother Donald. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Allan (Peggy), daughter Sharon (Dan); grandchild Matthew and life-long family friends Lenore, Debbie (Dave); Ryan and Lindsay; as well as sister in law Lorraine and niece Sandra. She will also be missed by her extended family Tim, Christine and Crystal and their children.

Charlotte was born in St. Boniface, Manitoba where she met and married our dad Rene at the age of 19. Charlotte and Rene enjoyed family, driving vacations, drive-in movies and numerous camping trips. Reed Lake was always their favorite camping spot and fishing hole. Besides their master anglers, it was the friends of happy hour that captured their hearts.

Charlotte was a full time mom with a part time job of over 25 years. She retired from Salisbury House but never stopped being a mom. Mom was always enthused to go out for lunch and just as happy to host a family dinner. She always enjoyed the company of her family. Her kindness and friendliness will be sadly missed from anyone who knows her.

In keeping with Charlotte’s wishes, a service and burial will take place at Green Acres Funeral Home located on Hwy #1 East at Navin Road on Thursday, February 7th at 2:00pm.

Memorial donations may be made to Lupus Canada or Cancer Society.
