Etienne "Chic" Hacault

He is survived by his wife Aira Zergman; siblings Marguerite DeRoo, Laurent (Joyce), Edward (Patti), Yvonne, Jacqueline (Robert Marginet), Albert and Rita (Glen Howell); in-laws Raymond VanDenBossche, Cecile Hacault, and Ben Robidoux, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, Jean and Alice Hacault; wife Laurette Boulet; brother Paul; sisters Agnes VanDenBossche, Georgette Robidoux, Marie Tessier and brother in-laws Dennis Tessier, Mike DeRoo and Bill Hinks.

Etienne was born in Bruxelles, Manitoba and lived there for 32 years. He married Laurette Boulet on May 20, 1961.

He farmed for one summer and then moved to Winnipeg where he worked for Parkhill Upholstery. He then took a course at Red River College in appliance repairs and servicing. From 1968 to 1972 he worked for Eatons. He started his own repair business and retired in 2001. In 2005, he moved to the manor in Holland, Manitoba.

Failing Health sent him to the Care Home in Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba, in November 2013.

The family wishes to express gratitude for the excellent care he received there.

Memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 6, 2:00PM, at Green Acres Funeral Home; Highway #1 East at Navin Road.
