He was employed by Manitoba Housing for 27 years and was to retire this July. Ken was a proud member of Ukr. Cdn. Br. 141 Legion where he currently held the position of Treasurer and Past President.
My husband was definitely a jack-of-all-trades. Not a thing he couldn't fix. Always a helping hand for anyone who needed things done. Especially at the place he loved, Oakbank, Manitoba. That was his get-away, vacation spot, and a place where he could relax or always find something to fix. His Oakbank friends were very dear to him.
As a Dad and Grampsy, he instilled his traits to carry on his legacy. Although he could seem quiet and quirky at times, his loves for his kids were very precious. He was very proud of them and their accomplishments.
As per Ken's wishes, cremation has taken place and a get together will be held Sat. May 24 from 2-5pm at Br. 141 Legion, 618 Selkirk Ave.
You left us beautiful memories; your Love is our guide.
Although we cannot see you, you'll always be by our side.
