Lucien, or Lou as most people called him, was born in Notre Dame de Lourdes. In 1957, he married his wife Raymonde and together they raised their 5 children. They lived various places in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. In 1973 the family moved to Ste Rose du lac where Lou worked many years at the Co-op. He was a community minded person, volunteering at many events with the Knights of Columbus.
He enjoyed fishing, curling and most of all family camping. He was often seen riding his bicycle around town and was known for taking many photos in the community. Lou attended church regularly and was proud to be a member of the church choir. He will always be remembered for his smiling eyes!
The family would also like to thank Actionmarguerite (St Vital) for the excellent care and compassion they provided.
The service will take place on Monday February 10, 2025 at 2pm at Green Acres Funeral Home. Livestream info and Share a Memory by visiting the following link: www.greenacresfuneralhome.com
