Marion Elizabeth Jones

Peacefully on May 15, 2025 at the River East Personal Care Home Marion passed away at the age 101, twelve days short of her 102 birthday.

Marion is survived by her son Jim Jones, granddaughters Lee and Elizabeth and great grandchildren Jeremy and Sunny. She was predeceased by her parents William and Charlotte Ekins, husband Langley Jones, daughter Irene and son-in-law Jim Cunningham.

Marion liked to workout at the YMCA downtown using the machines and swimming. She liked cats and dogs and all the animal shows on TV. As a family we did lots of travelling in Canada and the USA in our motorhome. Marion also enjoyed line dancing with her friends at church halls once a week.

There will be no funeral service.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
