I have the deepest respect for Martin.   He had a large impact in my life, as he made amends to me and others to improve his life.  I thank God for him.  It takes a very strong person to do this.  It filled me with joy to see him so happy in his Facebook postings.  He deserves happiness and peace.

Martin was such a great neighbor and had the neatest garage known to mankind so I had to hire him at Bethesda Regional Health Centre! He was reliable and a hard worker. 
We sat around the fire many times.  Martin was easy to talk to  and our family enjoyed having him over to share a meal or play games.
He was a wonderful friend. I'm gonna miss the old Mokie.
Our condolences to the family.  May the Lord give you strength and peace.

      Martin and I meet when I was 20, back in 1984. I started at Lund, He trained me on starting tables and seat sides. Lol that won’t mean anything to you, but after reading what his children said about him. Memories of his sense of humour came back  ;)). I had many laughs with him, I’m sorry for your lose, my thoughts are with you.

My Dad was such a wonderful person. We shared so many great memories that I will cherish forever... Some of my fondest memories of him were all the times he made me laugh. He had such a great sense of humor. You know we were both having a great time when we'd both have to take off our glasses to wipe the tears from laughing so hard. Dad was always such a great entertainer and brightened every place he was in...
I think back to all the good times we shared with our Christian friends/family at Church, Bible study, and Cell Group- whether it was playing games, joking around, celebrating, praying for one another, or loving & encouraging each other. My Dad loved Jesus and loved learning about Him and growing closer to Him. Being able to be a part of that journey with my Dad was so special to me. I always looked up to him. We both shared some great laughs and fun with those group of friends/family in Christ...
We also shared the same Birthday! Me and him always thought that was so special. We'd always get together and go out for food and play board games at home with family & friends on our special day. I remember he told me that I was the best birthday gift he ever got. Made me so happy to hear him say that :)...
Some of my favorite memories is how he'd always give me a big hug whenever we visited each other. I'm so glad he did that. I always felt so loved and taken care of. Dad taught me so much about life and never stopped supporting us kids with our dreams and goals. I'm so incredibly blessed and thankful to have had such a kind and loving Father. And I'm so proud of the man he was and the way he raised me. I couldn't have asked for a better Dad...
Rest in peace Daddy. Been thinking about the joy you must be feeling in Heaven right now with Jesus. Can't wait to see you again ❤

There's just too many memories to put, dad was my hero and taught me everything I know. I've had so many good memories and have such great memories of all our adventures together. From crazy family firework shows to just cruising around on the quad discovering new trails. From camping trips, to hours out on the boat from early morning to late in the afternoon just fishing. Won't forget about him helping me catch my first fish just under 30"!! Was so big he had to hold it for me! A more recent memory of him was this summer, walking me down the isle and giving me away, his one and only girl...
I miss you so much dad and love you so much. R.I.P and look forward to seeing you again. So proud to call him my dad 

I'll always remember Martin at family gatherings after a meal he'd go get a toothpick and ask his mom if she wanted one and she'd say no and smile with a puckered face . For those that don't know aunty she never had dentures for probably the last 5 to 8 years of her life. He was a very comical person and loving person.  Will miss bumping into you wherever. R.
