Myrna Katherine Addison

She is survived by son Donald (Addison (Jocelyne); daughter Sharon (Brett) Davies; grandsons John (Stacy) Addison, Joseph (Savanna) Addison and Mark (Vanessa) Davies and her much loved great granddaughter Amelia Grace Davies. She is also survived by youngest brother Ken (Julie) Roney.

Myrna was born March 27, 1930 in Wawanesa, Manitoba to Wilbert and Pearl Roney. After her education, Myrna worked at the Wawanesa Mutual Insurance Company in Wawanesa. Myrna met the love of her life, John Addison in Carberry, Manitoba and they married in 1947, enjoying 56 years of blissful marriage before his passing in 2003. Soon after being married, they moved to Winnipeg and started a family. Myrna was an avid sewer, honing her expert skills in making clothes for her children and her self. She also had a flair for creating hats.

The family would like to thank the staff at St. Boniface Hospital for their caring and compassionate care. Myrna was a gentle soul, much loved by all. Myrna cherished time spent with her family and will be greatly missed. She will be forever in our hearts. A private Service at Green Acres has been held.
