Paul Zacharuk

August 28, 1922 - June 14, 2014

With great sadness we announce the passing of our great friend, brother and uncle at the Middlechurch Care Home on June 14th at the age of 91.

He was predeceased by his loving wife, Stella in 2010; his beloved daughter Rose in May 2000; brother Jim, Bill and Henry; sisters, Mary, Lena and Pauline.

He leaves to mourn his brother Alex (Dorothy) from St. Catherine’s, Ontario; nephews, Michael (Hazel), John (Gloria), Daryl, niece Jeanette (Ken), and many more nephews and nieces; beloved friends Marilyn & Edward.

Paul was in the Canadian Armed Forces awhile then came home to work in many places.

He was born in the RM of Stuartburn to parents Andrew and Maria Zacharuk. Paul was a hard worker and a very gentle man.

Thanks to the wonderful staff at Middlechurch Care home for being so nice and gently with him.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 10:00 am at Green Acres Funeral Home with interment to follow. Reception in the Heritage Room to follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
