Andrew Jeffrey Harris was born on October 21,1991 in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Jeff and Lisa Harris. The family moved to Lexington, KY in January of 1993. Andrew was a kind, caring, and loving husband, son and brother. He was a good student and talented athlete who loved participating in basketball and baseball. He graduated in 2010 with honors from Lexington Christian Academy and began his college career in Columbus, Ohio at Capital University. He transferred to Asbury for his sophomore year and graduated in 2014 with a degree in Accounting. He continued his love of playing baseball while there. He obtained his master’s degree in accounting from The University of Kentucky in 2015 and earned his CPA designation that same year. He started his professional career at BKD in Louisville and later began working in the audit department at Dean Dorton in Louisville, where he was an associate director.
He married the love of his life, Taylor McNear, in September of 2018. They enjoyed spending time together working on house projects, traveling, baking, binge watching their favorite shows and spending time with each of their families.
He is survived by his wife, Taylor Harris; their two dogs, Bexley and Indie; father and mother, Jeff and Lisa; brother, Daniel; sister, Hannah; brother-in-law, Jamie and father and mother-in-law, Jim and Cindy McNear.
Visitation for Andrew will be held Friday, February 21, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with burial to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Lifeline Christian Mission or the Kentucky Humane Society.
