Betty Hottle Buchanan, 87, of New Albany, Indiana passed away February 6, 2021 at Lincoln Hills Healthcare. She was born on February 12, 1933 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Frank George and Bessie Richardson Hottle. She was retired from Regional Federal Savings Bank, was a past member of Bonnie Sloan American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and was a member of St. Mark's United Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Fredrick T. "Buck" Buchanan; three brothers and one sister.
She is survived by a son, Gary Buchanan (Gabriele); a daughter, Karen Zipp (Larry); grandchildren, Erik Buchanan, Jessica Ashton (Jared), Andrew Zipp (Brynn) and Christopher Zipp (Marie); five great-grandchildren, Conner Zipp, Isabella Zipp, Bristol Zipp, Kove Ashton and Griffin Ashton; three nephews and two nieces.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Friday, February 12, 2021 in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with private burial to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana. Services will be live streamed on Facebook Live at www.facebook.com/kraftfuneral.
