Betty Deloris (Kremer) Monroe, age 92, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024. She was born on February 13, 1932, to the late Tony E. and Ola May Kremer. She was married to her loving husband, Carl Ray Monroe, for 59 years until his passing in October 2020. Betty worked for Indiana Bell for some years until her retirement.
Betty was a talented lady, to say the least. She enjoyed doing many different crafts. Baking and decorating cookies were among some of her favorites. She also loved her flowers.
Along with her parents and husband, Betty is preceded by her son, Michael Lee Monroe, and a brother, Robert "Bob" Kremer.
Betty's visitation will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. A service will follow the visitation starting at 12:00 PM.
Betty will be laid to rest in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park following services.
