Bona Terrell Holbrook

Bona T. Holbrook, 83, of Jeffersonville, Indiana formerly of Louisville, Kentucky passed away October 17, 2020 at his home. He was born in Carter County, Kentucky to the late of Rupert and Nellie Holbrook. He was a retired Corhart Refractories and a veteran in the United States Army. He was of the Pentecostal faith. He received his bachelors from University of Louisville with his degree in business, and received drafting and engineering training at Indiana University. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two children, Ginger Luerman and Brad Holbrook; and a brother, Richard David Holbrook; and two sisters, Betty Holbrook and Charlotte Rochford. Bona is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Holbrook; two daughters, Angela (Jose) Guzman and Wendy (Roy) Timberlake; siblings, Judith, Linda, Robin, Loretta, Darrell, Dallas, Ruby, Nettie and Lloyd; six grandchildren, Jessica, Monica, Kyle, Kira, B.J. and Christine; one great-grandson, Braxton; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road. Funeral Service will be in the chapel of Kraft Funeral Service on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. with private entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park, Louisville, Kentucky. The family wishes memorial donations in lieu of flowers be sent to Kindred Hospice.
