Brenda K. Swafford Claybrooke, 68 years of age died Wednesday August 13, 2014 with her family at her side. Brenda was born June 5, 1946 in McLeansboro, Illinois to Matthew and Virginia (Prince) Swafford. She was the widow of Ronald L. Claybrooke and proud mother of two daughters. She retired from State Farm Insurance Company. Brenda will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include daughters, Kim Tungate and husband Jim, Robin Morton and husband Steve; grandchildren, Cody, Conner, and Hannah; companion, Danny Peevey; mother, Virginia (Prince) Swafford; sister, LaDonna Miller; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 12:00 pm Saturday, August 16 at the Kraft Chapel with private burial at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
