Carl Ray Monroe

Carl Ray Monroe, 82, of New Albany, Indiana passed away October 29, 2020 at Lincoln Hills Healthcare. He was born in Flatrock, Indiana on April 11, 1938. Carl was retired from Indiana Bell Telephone Company and was the owner of Monroe Telephone Service. He was a veteran in the United States Army. He is preceded in death by a son, Michael Monroe; a brother and two sisters. Carl is survived by his wife of 59 years, Betty Kremer Monroe; and a sister; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with entombment in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park. Expressions of sympathy are suggested to Kindred Hospice.
