Carol Yarbrough

Carol Yarbrough, age 71, of New Albany, Indiana went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 18, 2025. Carol was born June 7, 1953 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to the late Howard and Edna Goldman. She was a former employee of Walmart, Kroger, and the old Jeffersonville Evening News. Carol attend Heartland Church of the Nazarene and loved her family, animals, and shopping. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Kathy Sorrels and Patty Mousty.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Dale Yarbrough; daughter, Wendy Yarbrough (Clay Douglas); sisters, Dottie Schwalm (Gary), Diana Grether (Mark); granddaughters, Laeha Miller (Shonteze), Morgan Miller, Courtney Miller; great grandchildren, Jada, Jayshon, Jordan, Alonna, Aubrionna, Avion, Trice; numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Carol will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150. A visitation will occur Thursday, April 24, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150. A funeral service will occur Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 11:00 AM, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150.

Carol will be laid to rest in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana 47150.

The family requests donations in Carol's memory to the American Lung Association or Heartland Church of the Nazarene.
