Carrie Absher

Carrie Absher, 83, of Pekin, Indiana passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024. Carrie was born in Breathitt County, Kentucky to the late Eirshel and Mary (Smith) Napier. Carrie was married to the love of her life for 66 years, Jessie Absher, and together they would start a family. Jessie preceded her in death just last week so their love may continue together in the Lord's eternal grace. She enjoyed spending her time with Jessie as a devoted wife. Their adventures included car shows, being a nascar fan, and driving together throughout the country.

Preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 66 years, Jessie Absher; siblings, Danny Napier, Joyce Napier, and Wilson Napier.

Carrie is survived by two sons Danny and Donnie Absher; and daughter Nancy Isaacs; nine grandchildren; and siblings, David Napier, Ruth Hendrick, Bonnie Walton, and Wanda "Susie" Frieszell.

Her visitation will be at First Baptist Church of Pekin, 1145 E. 5th Street, Pekin, Indiana on Feb. 20th, 2024 from 11:00am to 1:00pm with her Funeral Services to be at 1:00pm.

Following services, Carrie will be laid to rest next to her husband in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana.
