Cathy A. McCormick, 61, died Monday, September 7, 2015 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. She was born June 14, 1954 in McLeansboro, Illinois. She is preceded in death by her mother, Genevieve (Hassett) Swafford. She was a loving wife and mother and loved her grandchildren dearly. She enjoyed camping, being at the lake on the pontoon, animals of all kinds, spending time with her Tea Time and Emma friends, but her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Children: Chris McCormick and his wife, Christy
Tiffaney Taylor and her husband, Eric
Grandchildren: Abbey and Madisyn Taylor and Briley McCormick
Siblings: Tony Swafford and Gena VanAbbema
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 12:00 pm Friday at the funeral home chapel with private entombment to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
