Charles "Roy" Beaven

Charles "Roy" Beaven, 71, of Corydon, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Baptist Health Floyd. Roy was born October 14, 1949 in Elizabeth, Indiana to the late Charles Beaven and Bessie Hockman. He was retired from Airco Carbide and loved to hunt and fish. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two sisters, Juanita Benson and Ruby Beaven; and a brother, Wayne Beaven. Roy is survived by his wife of 49 years, Susan Timberlake Beaven; two sons, Charles A. Beaven Sr. and Christopher Lee Beaven; three grandsons, Charles "C.J." A. Beaven Jr., Eric Beaven and Donovan Beaven; a sister, Edith (Gary) Pierson; a brother, James (Sandy) Beaven; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A visitation for Roy will be Sunday, October 10, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd. Funeral service will be Monday, October 11, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with burial to follow in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
