Clarence Joe Banet, 77, of Floyds Knobs passed away at his residence Friday, May 11, 2012. Clarence was born May 3, 1935 in Floyds Knobs, Indiana to the late Wilford and Mary Renn Banet. He was also preceeded in death by two brothers, Wilfred Tommy Banet and Benjamin Dutch Banet. Clarence was married to his wife Marilyn Emily Banet for 59 years. He retired from GE after 37 years of service. He was a lifelong member of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church. Survivors include: Wife of 59 years: Marilyn Emily Banet Children: Joann Arnold (Tony) Floyds Knobs, IN Rex Banet Floyds Knobs, IN Michael R. Banet (Donna) Floyds Knobs, IN Carl Banet Clarksville, IN Brenda Banet New Albany, IN Grandchildren: Brian Timberlake (Marcy), Scott Timberlake (Erika), Craig Timberlake (Courtney), John Anderson, Jeff Anderson, Chris Arnold, Amanda Arnold, Cody Banet, Charlie Jenney (Lauren), Daniel Jenney, Donna Russell (Danny), Justin Husband (Karen), Crystal Husband, Angie Sims (Archie), Joey Banet, and Shane Banet Great Grandchildren: Shelbie Timberlake, Lucas Timberlake, Jacob Timberlake, Brooklyn Jones, Haley Sims, Austin Sims, Andy Russell, Brandon Russell, Caylee Russell, Tyler Husband, Zachary Husband, and Emma Husband Brothers: Maurice Banet (Marilyn), LeMerle Banet (Faye), and Larry Banet (Donna) Sisters: Aileen Banet, Norma Andres (Irvin), and Martha Moore Many loving nieces and nephews Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm Sunday and from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. His funeral mass will be 10:00 am Tuesday at St. Mary of the Knobs Chapel with burial to follow in St. Mary of the Knobs Cemetery.
