Connie Sue Humphrey

Connie Sue Humphrey, age 80 passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. Constance was born in Louisville, Kentucky on February 1, 1944 to the late Walter Thomas and Bessie Fenwick Thomas. She was a member of Congregation Anshei Sfard. She enjoyed cooking, antiquing, shopping, dancing, concerts and shooting pool. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Shelby F. Humphrey Jr., siblings, Walter Thomas, Henry Thomas, Debbie Thomas and Mike Thomas; and a grandson, Mason Humphrey. Connie is survived by a sister, Helen Kane; five children, Mark (Debbie) Riley, Kelly (Paul) Hertweck, Todd (Riggsann) Humphrey, Meghan Humphrey and Jade (Cody) Young; grandchildren, Shawna, Mark Jr., Nikki, Laura, Candice, Elijah and Raven; numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Monday, April 29, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana 47150. Funeral service will be Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at 10:00 AM, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana 47150 with burial to follow in Bethany Memorial Cemetery.
