Curtis Richard Howard

Curtis Richard Howard, age 76, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025. He was born to the late William C. Howard and Hilda (Brown) Howard on October 2, 1948. He married the love of his life, Linda M.(Bolton) Howard, on November 2, 1968. Richard proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He retired from Phillip Morris after 31 years of service.

In his spare time, Richard enjoyed hunting, fishing, and bowling. He also loved to take the family on fun camping trips. Richard was a faithful member of the Calvary Road Baptist Church in New Albany, where he enjoyed taking care of the lawn.

Along with his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his two sisters, Teri Howard and Crystal Quick.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 56 years, Linda M. Howard; his children, Julie Howard and Curtis W. Howard (Ellen); two grandchildren, Crosby Howard and Victoria Howard; seven brothers, Tim Howard, Tony Howard, Joe Howard, Dominic Howard, Matt Howard, Peter Howard, and Michael Howard; and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana.
