Darrell Ray Gresham

Darrell R. Gresham, 85, passed away surrounded by his family at his home in Lanesville, Indiana, on March 9, 2026. Darrell was born in Corydon, Indiana, on October 13, 1940, to the late Ray and Edna (Emily) Gresham. Darrell retired from Poly One in Louisville, Kentucky, after a long career. He was a passionate fan of Westerns and Wrestling, but Darrell was known best for the love he had for his family and his little dog, Hoyt.

Darrell is preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of 50 years, Nancy (Thompson) Gresham; a granddaughter, Shannon Renee Cox; a son-in-law, Doug Eskridge.

Darrell is survived by his children, Wanda Cox (Gibby), Linda Eskridge, Donna Fetz (Perry Sr.), and Ann Burk (Bobby); his grandchildren, Roxanne (Steve), Stacy, Doug, Kim (Tim), Aeriel, Perry Jr., Anthony, and Jordan (Bradley); his great grandchildren, Alina, Evan, Ryan, Peyton, Brandon, Jade, Cassandra, Jaxon, and Averie; his great-great granddaughter, Sofia; his brother, Raymond Gresham; his sister, Carol Morris; and many extended family and friends.

A Visitation will be held at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana, on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Darrell will be laid to rest at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany, Indiana.
