Delores Ann Banet

Delores Ann (Brock) Banet, age 87, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on April 15, 2024. She was one of seven children, born on October 5, 1936, to the late Phillip and Viola (Hanger) Brock. Delores was married to the love of her life, her late husband of 49 years, Jerry Banet. For most of her career, Delores assisted in Labor and Delivery at Floyd Memorial Hospital. Delores was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a classy lady and was into fashion. If she was going out, she always made sure everything was matching. She attended the “Breakfast Club” with friends daily and was an avid bargain shopper! She was much loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Along with her parents and late husband, she is also preceded in death by her siblings, Paul Brock, Carl Brock, Laverne Fine, Doris KoJack, Claire Nelson, and Marilyn Hardesty. She is survived by her two daughters, Durenda Ettel and Jeri Ann Banet Johnson (Kevin); four grandchildren, Stefani Lutz (Steve), Ryan Ettel (Heather), Cody Banet Johnson, and Lindsay Johnson; and two great-grandchildren, Emery Lutz and Ryder Ettel. A memorial visitation for Delores will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with a service to follow at 1:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana.
