His professional life was diverse and impactful, having founded Receveur Construction, and working concurrently as a family doctor and an anesthesiologist until his retirement in 2001. Paul was a man of many interests including music, construction, woodworking, boating, and reading. He cherished time spent with his grandchildren, passing on his love for hands-on creativity and the joys of life on the water. Additionally, he was known to be a gifted vocalist throughout his life, always joining choir at whatever school or collage he was attending at the time. He never sang professionally, though one of his last wishes was fulfilled this year, performing publicly in a venue (with the assistance of his daughter Joanna).
He is survived by his sisters, Suzanne and Mary Lou; his children, Paul, Joanna, Katie, and Tim; grandchildren, Jahsmine, Zora Ann, Liliann, Jack, Nellie, Beverly, Alex, and Sam; and great-grandchild, Maya.
