Ella Mae (Welman) Helman, born on February 6, 1921, in Georgetown, Indiana, passed away on December 25, 2025, at the age of 104. She was preceded in death her parents, Charles and Mary Ann (Dalby) Welman, and husband, Carl Helman Jr.
Ella is survived by her son, Donald V. Jaggers; grandchildren, Sheila Vaughn (Tony), Joe Jaggers (Tammy), Mary Hughley (Jim); 5 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on December 31, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Kraft Funeral Service, located at 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana, 47150. The funeral service will follow at the same location, beginning at 12:00 pm.
The final resting place will be Wolfe Cemetery in Georgetown, Indiana.
