ETHEL MAE AUSTIN, 94, died Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Lincoln Hills Health Center in New Albany, Indiana. The daughter of the late George Albert and Lily Gardner, Ethel was born May 8, l919 in Floyd County, Indiana. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Austin; son-in-law, Tony Ferguson; three sisters; and one brother.
Survivors include her daughters, Sharon Ferguson, Vonda Lockhart (Leland), Velva Thomas (Joseph) and Patricia Glotzbach (Charles); son, Daniel Jobes (Sheri); 14 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and 15 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 3:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Friday, April 18, 2014 and after 9:00 am Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service, with Rev. Leland Lockhart officiating, will be 11:00 am Saturday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with private burial to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.
