Evelyn Marie Drake Grangier

EVELYN MARIE (DRAKE) GRANGIER, 96, died Thursday, December 27, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. The daughter of the late Herbert Lee and Melissa (Wilhoite) Drake, Evelyn was born December 14, 1916 in Louisville, KY. Evelyn was a member of Tri-City Baptist Church in New Albany. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Amiel S. Grangier; son, David A. Grangier; great-granddaughter, Jami Grangier; brothers, Earl, Garland and Roy Drake; sisters, Viola Drake, Goldie Knight Bice and Pauline King; step-son, Dr. Bernard Grangier; and step-grandson, David B. Grangier.

Visitation will be 12:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Sunday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 10:00 am Monday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with burial following in Veron Cemetery, New Albany.
