Fern P. Loi

Fern P. Loi, age 96, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on July 8, 1926, to the late Stephen and Mildred (Robinson) Brown. Fern worked for Fine's Shirt Factory as a seamstress for 30 years before retirement.

Fern was a member of Our lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in New Albany, Indiana as well as a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Along with going to church, reading was another one of her favorite things to do.

Along with her parents, Fern is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur J. Loi.

Fern is survived by her 3 children; Sandra Townsend (William), Peggy Morris (David), and Pamela Taylor (Robert); 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Wanda Davis.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2023, from 2:00 PM ~ 6:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 710 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana 47150

A funeral mass will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023, at 11 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 1752 Scheller Lane, New Albany, IN 47150

Fern will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in New Albany, Indiana.
