Frances L. Fessel Henley

She was born September 24th 1922 in Bradford, IN to the late Edmond Benjamin and Jessie Irene (Mosier) Fessel. Frances was a founding member of Holy Family Catholic Church where she was a member of the Marian Guild. She also loved her Bunko Club.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Henley; son, Bennie L. Henley; grandson, Aaron J. Bowe; and siblings, Mary Catherine Uhl, Joseph Fessel and Phyllis Leidolf.

Survivors include children, Jeannie Bowe (Dan, Sr.) Friant, CA , Diana Lee Kruer (Ralph), New Albany, Becky Suzanne Prather, New Albany, Edward Martin Henley (Dyan), Jeffersonville, IN, Nancy Jane Owens, Clarksville, IN and Jeffrey Taylor Henley (Amy Binder), New Albany; 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren Visitation will be from noon until 8 p.m. Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring St., New Albany. Her funeral Mass will be 11:30 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church, 129 W. Daisy Lane, New Albany with burial to follow at Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery.

The family requests expressions of sympathy be made to her church.
