GROVER H. PHILLIPS, 70, of Clarksville died Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at his home. The son of the late Morris and Lou Settie (Conder) Phillips, Grover was born November 7, 1939 in Mannsville, Kentucky. Grover was retired from Yellow Freight Company and was a member of Teamsters Local #89. He loved to camp with his family and was a member of the old Skamper Camper Club for many years. A man with a fantastic sense of humor, Grover will be greatly missed by his family and many friends whose lives he touched.
Survivors include wife of 49 years, Bernice (Whitis) Phillips; daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Stephen Frame; daughter, Lesa (Phillips) Schmidt; sisters, Donnalyn Edds and Marcella Coomer; and grandchildren, Kyle A. Frame, Taylor N. Frame and Gage S. Schmidt.
Visitation: 2-8 p.m. Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, IN. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the Kraft Chapel with private entombment in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.
