Harold Elmer Mauck, 89 years of age died Wednesday, April 13, 2016. Harold was born April 24, 1926 in Alton, Indiana to the late Ivan and Venetia (Watson) Mauck. Harold was a United States Navy veteran of World War II and retired from both the Indiana State Police and American Commercial Barge Lines. He was a member of the USS LSM-LSMR Association, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Indiana State Fraternal Order of Police. Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Regina Marie Mauck; son, Harold Kevin Mauck; daughters, Deborah L. Mauck and Tamra A. Mauck; brother, Gordon Mauck; sister, Wanda Thorn; and nephew, Eric Stone.
Survivors include his daughter, Kathy Jackson (John); grandchildren, Keith Groth (Kelley), Kristina Groth; nephew, Jeff Mauck; nieces, Laura Blanton, Lisa Sudberry (Howard), Jackie Amol (Mark), Joy Loeffler (Jerry).
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His funeral service will be 11:00 am Saturday at the funeral home chapel with private burial at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
