Rev. Ivan V. "Brother Bill" Christoff

REV. IVAN V. "BROTHER BILL" CHRISTOFF, 91 years of age, died December 3, 2016. He was born June 7, 1925 in Herrin, Illinois to the late Gordon V. and Virginia Ethel (Penninger) Christoff. Brother Bill was a minister and educator all of his life and was formerly the pastor at Parkway Baptist Church in New Albany, Indiana. He and is wife of 73 years, Mildred, currently were members of Walnut Street Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky. Brother Bill will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his family and all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Charles and Bobby Christoff; step-father, Louis Christy; and a granddaughter, Cynthia Lee.

Survivors include his wife of 73 years, Mildred (Anderson) Christoff; sons, Jim Christoff and Dennis Christoff (Kathy); daughter, Judy Bryson (Ken); sister, Doris Trobaugh (John); eight grandchildren, Emma, Hailey, Brian, Jennifer, Dawn, Brittany, Anita, and Ann Janette; eight great grandchildren, Ethan, Megan, Chelsea, Bryson, Asher, Parker, Amanda, and Matthew; and four great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 3:00 pm ~ 7:00 pm Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana and from 10:00 am ~ 12:00 noon Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at Parkway Baptist Church, 2508 Corydon Pike, New Albany, Indiana with his Funeral Service at 12:00 noon Wednesdasy at the church. Burial will follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.
