He worked at Ford Motor Company for over 32 years. Jimmy was a fisherman. He was an anchor in his marriage and family. Jimmy enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his great-grandkids.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Judy Bayless; Daughter, Jenny Hager "niece" (Shawn); Son, Kevin Wesley "nephew"; Sisters, Donna Bohannon & Betty Wolf (Charles); Nieces & Nephews, Chalk, Linda, Mike, James, Billy, Cheryl, and Tina; Brother-in-law, Larry Neal; Granddaughters, Sara, Hannah, Taylor, Mylee; & Great-Grandchildren Karson, Kaden and Hadley.
James is preceded in death by his parents, Buck & Mildred Bayless.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 3, 2026 from 10am-1pm at Kraft Funeral Home. Funeral will follow at 1pm. He will be laid to rest in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
