James "Jim" Russel Harvey Jr.

James "Jim" Russel Harvey Jr., 74, of Sellersburg, Indiana passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family. James was born in Jeffersonville, Indiana on November 9, 1948 to the late James Russell Harvey Sr. and Minnie Bell Ballard Harvey. He was in the Oil Sales and Distribution Industry. He was a member of Northside Christian Church, the Ironmen Ministry and the Old Guy's Car Club. Jim enjoyed golfing, was an avid IU fan and traveling with his friends and family.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Genevieve Louise Harvey; a son, James Monroe Harvey and his wife, Paula; a daughter, Janet Lynn VanCleve and her husband, Derrick; grandchildren, Payten Mattingly, Uriah VanCleve, Derrick VanCleve, Cameron VanCleve, Kaitlin Howell (Wesley), Megan Anderson, Christian Anderson, Leia DeGeorge, Bella DeGeorge, Daniel Moody, Tiffany Moody and Scottie Brandenburg; great grandson, Kayden Fogg; nieces and nephews, Tammy, Matthew, Robin, Noah, Jeremiah, Autumn and Savannah; sister-in-law, Cynthia Faught; brother-in-law, Stephen Skelton and his wife, Raven; and his beloved dog, Chico

Visitation will be from 2-8 pm on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 and 9-12 on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana 47150.

Funeral Service will be at Noon on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 by Friar John Bamman, OFM Conv. at the funeral home with entombment in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
