James W. Prather

James W. Prather, 72, of Georgetown, Indiana passed away August 3, 2020 at Baptist Health Floyd. He was born on June 17, 1948 in New Albany, Indiana a son of the late Chester Lee and Mildred Elizabeth Melton. He was a member of the United States Marine Corp from 1966 to 1976 and was a retired tool maker. He was a Marine until the day he died. He is survived by his wife, Doris; a daughter, Kelli (Bryan) Temple; three grandchildren, Jarod, Jordan and Brayli; a sister, Patricia (Ralph) Nordhoff and a niece, Theresa Nordhoff. Visitation and funeral services are private with entombment in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
