James "Jimmy" Colin Shelton, 68, passed away on November 11, 2025, in New Albany, Indiana. Jimmy was born on February 21, 1957, to the late Sherwood Shelton and Roselyn Vasser Shelton. Jimmy was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of Bonny Sloan American Legion Post, New Albany, Indiana.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife, Mary A. Shelton, and many siblings and extended family.
Jimmy is survived by his children, Evelyn Barnes and James Irmen; his sister, Michelle White; and many friends and extended family.
Jimmy's wishes were to be cremated and laid to rest by his wife in a military cemetery in Florida.
