Jane Marie Rudy, 61, died Tuesday, February 16, 2021 surrounded by family at her home in New Albany. Jane was born in New Albany, Indiana on August 27, 1959 to Huey and Roberta Black. She graduated from New Albany High School and was retired from Diversified Ophthalmic. Jane enjoyed playing cards, betting on the horses and going to the casino. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her father, Huey Black.
Jane is survived by her husband of 37 years, Stephen James Rudy; mother, Roberta Black; a sister, Portia Quinkert (Tom); a brother, Jimmy Black (Pam); two sons, Tyler Rudy (Lorena) and Troy Rudy (Amanda); a step daughter, Carrie King (Joe); grandchildren, Elena Rudy, Lilah Rudy, Charlie Rudy, Kassandra King, Emma King, Olivia King with a seventh grandchild on the way.
Visitation will be from 12-4 p.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring Street. Funeral Service will be at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
