Janet E. Seacat Daly

JANET E. (SEACAT) DALY, 75, died Tuesday, May 24, 2016. God looked around His garden and found an empty place. Then He looked down upon this earth and saw her tired face. He put His arms around her and lifted her to rest. God’s garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best.

Jan was born July 20, 1940 in Cape Sandy, Indiana to the late James and Wilma Jones Seacat. Jan was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, New Albany. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel S. Daly; sister, Judi Jones; grandchildren, Jase and Jamie.

Survivors include her daughters, Julie Ann Price, Sandra Atchley, Brandy Daly, Sondra Daly, Beverly Matlock, and Kristina Daly; 10 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 3:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Thursday and after 10:00 am Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. There will be a Rosary Service at 3 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Her Funeral Mass will be 2:00 pm Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church, New Albany, Indiana with entombment to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.
