Jettie Lee (Gibson) Bowling, age 80, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024. She was born March 28, 1943 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Willard Gibson and Kathryn (Babcock) Voyles. Lee was a longtime employee of IMCO Containers and later retired from Beach Mold and Tool. She was a member of the Fraternal Order the Eagles Jeffersonville Lodge and was preceded in death by her son, Michael Fritz; sister, Faye Banet; great granddaughter, Trinity Jackson.
She is survived by her children, Debbie Lacy, Gary Bowling (Kathy), Angela Fritz-Schickel (David), Shannon Kamer (Dave); grandchildren, Daniel, Brandi, Chelsea, Dustin, Alexis, Lakin, Chance, Blake; great grandchildren, Lilli, Elijah, Layla, Branden, Jayce, Xander, Ezra, Evelyn, Knox, Maddox, Gracie, Amelia; beloved dog, Oliver.
A visitation for Lee will be held Tuesday, January 30, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana 47150, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
Lee will be laid to rest in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana.
