John Hall

John Hall, 69, of New Albany, Indiana passed away peacefully in his home under Interim Hospice Care on Saturday, June 11, 2022. John was born December 30, 1952 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Reese and Margaret Kahafer Hall. He had a very deep Christian faith and supported all denominations. John was employed with Fisher Packing Company on Mellwood from 1972 until they shut down. Then he worked for his sister's company (T C R Rail Systems) until 2018. He was a sports enthusiast, loved to golf and playing cards. John never met a stranger, he always had time for everyone and kept conversations loud and interesting.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister, Vickie Hall.

John is survived by his wife of 40 years, Jenny; a daughter, Heather (Shawn); two granddaughters, Hayley and Kaycee; two great-grandchildren, Haylo and Easton; siblings, Reese (Therese), Mary, Sandy (Garry) and Jennifer (Michael); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, June 23, 2022 with his Celebration of Life Service beginning at 7:00 pm at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana 47150.
