A master electrician by trade, Joe took pride in the work he did. He spent much of his free time fishing, hunting, and enjoying nature. He had a special affection for animals, especially his dogs.
Joe is survived by his children, Alexis Meriwether (Vince Mathews) & Branden Meriwether (Helen Priddy); the mother of his children, Hollie Meriwether; Father, Richard Meriwether (Rhonda Meriwether); Siblings, Millette Haas, William Meriwether, Shelby Meriwether, Ashley Meriwether, and Stephanie Cravens Decker; nieces, Bekah Meriwether, Kierstin Hall, Trysta Ussery, Kailin Ussery, and Khloe Mae Brown; nephews, Ben Meriwether, Phillip Hall, Clayton Brown, and Sabastian Decker; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, February 27th from 12pm-4pm at Kraft Funeral Home (2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, IN). The funeral service will follow at 4pm.
