JOSEPH W. MORRISON, 66 years of age, died January 26, 2012 in Lakeland, Florida. Joe was born October 9, 1945 in Vincennes, Indiana to the late Louis and Marcella Morrison. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and retired after 33 years with the Internal Revenue Service in Louisville. After retirement, Joe worked part time for the American Eye Institute in New Albany and was a member of Second Chance @ Life in Louisville.
Survivors include his wife, Lindai Morrison; children, Chris Morrison (Judy) and Diane Nale (Mike); and granddaughters, Megan Morrison and Shelby Thomas.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, February 11, 2012 in the chapel at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy be made to Second Chance @ Life, P. O. Box 21425, Louisville, Kentucky 40221-0425.
