Joseph Carl Slider, 91, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on December 25, 2024. He was born on October 20, 1933, to the late John and Eva Slider. Joseph was a long-time employee of Cissell Manufacturing, where he retired.
Joseph was an avid hunter. He loved racing cars and started racing at the age of fifteen. He especially enjoyed figure-8 racing.
Along with his parents, Joseph is preceded in death by his loving wife, Jean, and brothers, Jack and Charlie.
He is survived by his children, Pamela Lieber (David), Carla Adams (Mike), David Slider, Doug Slider (Pam), and Dale Slider (Julie); six grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana.
