Joyce A. Cooper

Joyce A. Cooper, 71 years of age passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2019. She was born February 28, 1948 in New Albany to the late Daniel Stevens and Margie Stevens. Joyce was a former corrections officer with Floyd County Jail and also worked in the Probation Office. She was also very active with the Boy Scouts of America. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Albert Cooper; sons, Mike Cooper, Travis “Bud” Cooper, Kevin Stevens; mother, Margie Stevens; grandchildren, Jordan Kay, Hunter, Blake, Brandon; great grandson, Cash Ray; brothers-in-law, Jerry Cooper, Richard Cooper. Visitation will be 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. Her funeral service will begin at 7:00 pm Monday in the funeral home chapel.
