Kathleen "Kathy" M. Ernst, 82, passed away at home in New Albany, Indiana, on February 26, 2026. She was born on July 19, 1943, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late William W. Ernst and Catherine (Tierney) Ernst.
Kathy is preceded in death by her parents.
Kathy is survived by her brother, Father William "Bill" Ernst.
A Memorial Visitation will be held at Saint Mary's of the Annunciation Catholic Church, 415 East 8th, New Albany, Indiana, on Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
A Memorial Mass will be held at Saint Mary's of the Annunciation on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 11:00 am. Kathy's ashes will be laid to rest at Saint Mary's of New Albany Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for an expression of sympathy to be made to a charity of your choice.
