Leoda Freiberger

Leoda “MeMe Lee” Fenwick Freiberger, 100 years of age died Thursday May 8th, 2014 at the Robert Lee Healthcare. Leoda was born November 2nd, 1913 in Floyds Knobs IN. to the late Albert and Lula (Martin) Fenwick. She was a longtime sales associate at the Fashion Shop for many years until her retirement. Leoda was a longtime member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Albany. She will be missed and fondly remembered as “MeMe Lee” by her loving family and all who knew her throughout her long life. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Evan Fenwick and sister Emma Roberts.

Survivors include:

Daughter: JoAnn Wallace and husband Grady

Four Grandchildren: Michelle, Dawn, Janine, and Mark.

Six Great-Grandchildren: Danielle, Adam, Christine, Amanda, Cody and Kyle.

Six Great-Great-Grand: Logan, Ryan, Reese, Skylar, Alora, and Jackson.

Arrangements entrusted to Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Liturgy will be Celebrated at 11:00 am Monday May 12th, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Albany. Burial will be in St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Cemetery.
