Leslie R. Wesner Sr.

Leslie R. Wesner Sr., age 76, of Henryville, Indiana passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023. Leslie was born on October 22, 1946, to the late Leslie Howard and Zora (Jenkins) Wesner. He was married to the love of his life, Carolyn (Hampton) Wesner on August 11, 1966, and together they started a family. Leslie worked for the city of New Albany Street Department for many years until his retirement.

Leslie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather better known as "Pop". Spending time with his family was the highlight of his life. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping, and fishing and loved a good party.

Along with his parents, Leslie is preceded in death by his siblings, Barbara Kopatz, JanAnn McWilliams, and J. B. King.

Leslie leaves behind his loving wife, Carolyn Wesner; son, Leslie Randall Wesner Jr. (Cathy); 2 grandchildren, Kody Wesner (Heather), and Amber Wesner (Bobby); and 4 great-grandchildren, Jace Wesner, Abby Wesner, Rhylie McCubbins, and Brandall McCubbins.

A visitation for Leslie will be held on Monday, April 10, 2023, from 11:00 AM ~ to 8:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at 12:00 PM at the funeral home.

Leslie will be laid to rest in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park following the funeral service.
