Louise Basham, age 81, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at Baptist Health Floyd. She was born on May 1, 1943, in Breckenridge County, Kentucky to the late David Henry Thurman and Mable Lee Smith Thurman.
She was retired from Pillsbury she loved to garden.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, TL Basham; a son, Travis Lee Basham; a grandson, Jacob Shaw; a granddaughter, Jamie Grangier; and numerous brothers and sisters.
Louise is survived by her children, James L. (Tammy) Basham, Wendell S. Basham, Teresa E. Grangier and Renea Basham; two sisters, Betty Chappel and Dallas Thurman; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Burial will take place in Fairview Cemetery.
